JOB TITLE: FINANCE AND OPERATION MANAGER

The Tower programme is a company with Charitable status.

The Tower Programme offers a Training and Educational programme funded
by the Probation service with support from DDLETB (Dublin & Dun
Laoghaire Training and Education Board). The programme supports
individuals from the Clondalkin and wider area who are under the
supervision of a probation order.

Alongside educational opportunities and vocational training the
programme offers support such as counselling and targeted
interventions such as substance misuse and anger management.

Service users can avail themselves of all services offered and support
through their probation order and the criminal justice system.

The programme aim is to engage people into a path of desistance and
positive community re engagement. By promoting positive relationships
and opportunities to employment or self-sustainment.t

JOB PURPOSE:

The Finance and Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the
effective and efficient running of the financial and operational
functions of the organisation.

Reporting to the Executive Director, this is a senior role within our
team, requiring specific knowledge in accounting and Organization
transformation processes.

Reporting to the Executive Director, and as a member of the Management
Team you will work closely with the Finance and Risk Sub-committee and
play a critical role in the effective and efficient operation of the
association.

The Finance and Operation Manager is responsible for developing and
maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure
accurate and timely financial statements.

The position involves meeting tight deadlines and is responsible for
delivering a range of 

* accounting activities including preparing and producing management
accounts and analysis,
* preparing the annual budget, year-end audit preparation, preparing
forecasts, providing key
* management information necessary to aid decision making and
ensuring sound financial.
* management and controls are in place throughout the organisation.
